Incoming Students


We are very excited to have you join our community of creative innovators and makers. Choosing to attend CCS will be one of the biggest and best decisions of your life! Below you will find all of the information you will need as you transition into your life at CCS.

Enrollment Deposit

Incoming undergraduate and graduate students must pay a $250 Enrollment Deposit to confirm their intent to enroll. 

  • Use your login IDs and password (found on your admission decision letters and in the Student Portal on the Next Steps tab.)
  • International students can also submit the enrollment deposit in their home currency by bank/credit card or bank transfer via FlyWire.  
  • Enrollment Deposit deadline is within two weeks of the receipt of your admissions decision, or by May 1. If you need additional time or information to make your decision, please contact your admissions counselor for assistance.

Official Transcripts

All incoming students must submit their final, official transcript prior to the start of their first semester.

High School and Transfer Students

Request official transcripts from your school through Parchment. Transcripts can also be sent to .

International Students  

Final/official secondary transcripts or the equivalent exam must be translated into English via a professional translation service prior to submitting. Include all pages and a graduation certificate or statement and send to:

Transcripts must list the degree/diploma type and date and year of graduation. If it does not, a copy your diploma will be required to confirm completion of your undergraduate degree. International transcripts and documentation must be translated to English.

New Student Orientation occurs in the Fall and Winter depending on your admission date and is required for all new undergraduate, graduate, international and transfer students.

Laptop Requirements & Recommendations

Communication Design, Advertising Design and all graduate students will be required to own or purchase a laptop computer. CCS also provides recommendations for departments without requirements, as well as laptop support. Check out the Laptop Requirements & Recommendations.

The College for Creative Studies’ First Gen, First Step leadership program was developed to assist incoming First Gen students acclimate to campus life, provide in-depth resources, and create a close-knit community to prepare them for success in their first year of college.
