Undergraduate Admissions
General Timeline For Applicants
ANYTIME:
- Visit us on campus or at an event near you.
Fall Start (September)
AUGUST 1:
- Undergraduate application for admission opens
OCTOBER 1:
- Complete the FAFSA form open - select the appropriate application year and use CCS School Code: 006771
DECEMBER 1:
- Early Action Application Deadline
- Complete the admissions process and file the FAFSA to receive your transfer credit evaluation, CCS Merit Scholarship announcement, and your custom financial aid package
JANUARY 1–MARCH 1:
- Your Financial Aid Award package (which includes scholarship, tuition grant funds, state and federal grant, workstudy, and loan details) will be sent to all applicants with a FAFSA on file
- Housing Application open for deposited students
FEBRUARY 1:
- Priority Application Deadline
AFTER FEBRUARY 1:

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis
MAY 1:
- Enrollment deposit deadline for Fall Semester start
- Request that your final college and high school, official transcript(s) and/or test scores be sent directly from high school/dual-enrolled college or testing centers to the Academic Advising and Registration office
MAY 15:
- Academic Advisors begin to schedule Registration Appointments with incoming students
JUNE 1:
- Incoming Student Registration begins. Incoming students meet one-on-one with their Academic Advisor to create a Fall class schedule
JULY 15:
- Deadline for all final college and high school, official transcript(s) and/or test scores to arrive at CCS. Official documents must be sent directly from high school/dual-enrolled college or testing centers to the Academic Advising and Registration office at CCS
LATE AUGUST:
- New student move in, mandatory Orientation and Welcome Week activities
EARLY SEPTEMBER:
- Classes begin
Winter Start (January)
SEPTEMBER 1–NOVEMBER 1:
- Submit your complete application for admission
- Complete the FAFSA form - select the appropriate application year and use CCS School Code: 006771
OCTOBER 1- DECEMBER 15:
- Housing Application open for deposited students
- Your Financial Aid Award package will be sent to you within two-three weeks of completing your FAFSA
DECEMBER-JANUARY:
- Deposited students will be registered for classes by their Academic Advisor
- Enrollment deposit deadline for winter semester start. Deposited students will be registered for classes by their Academic Advisor
- Request that your final college and high school, official transcript(s) and/or test scores be sent directly from high school/dual-enrolled college or testing centers to the Academic Advising and Registration office at CCS after you have been accepted
DECEMBER 15:
- Deadline for all final college and high school, official transcript(s) and/or test scores to arrive at CCS. Official documents must be sent directly from high school/dual-enrolled college or testing centers to the Academic Advising and Registration office at CCS.
EARLY JANUARY:
- New student move in, mandatory Orientation and Welcome Week activities
- Classes begin
